Try to forget it but it's always p-p-pushing the other way,
I don't regret it but I never want to see your f-face again,
So what now?
Well come on, we'll push through,
It's what we tried to do it always ends up the same,
So what now?
If I could ch-change all my mistakes wouldn't put my f-faith in you,
You left me stranded and abandoned what the hell was I supposed to do?
So what now?
Well come on, it's your move,
Shit catches up with you when rolling 'round p-playing these games, Looks like we're never gonna dance again.
Your spotlight's fading how frustrating please sit back and enjoy the show,
The ship is crashing, captain's waxing all the bullshit you think you know,
So what now?
Well come on, seems you're through,
I had some hope for you it's funny how some feelings can change, Looks like we're never gonna dance again.
So glad this band has come on my radar. If this album had come out in '94/95 it would be considered a classic, a la Trashed or Leche Con Carne. Also the vid for Breakfast at Pamela's is straight-out genius. LukeSpurs
'Blood Fortune' is everything I was hoping Aanthems first LP would be, and more. It's got a diamond hard edge, but still brims with the warm heartedness both Ryan and Geoff are known for. The very definition of diverse, this album offers something for everyone: hardcore sensibilities, melodic turns, and some of the most singalong-able choruses/gang chants ever. It's been a banner year for Vancouver punk, but this has easily been my most spun record since it's time of release. thewreckedneck
A compilation of rollicking cuts from this Australian post-punk band that plays like a hybrid of the Velvets and the Stooges. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 3, 2017
